Andrew Robertson
Andrew brings a problem-solver’s expertise and a neighbour’s lived experience to the questions shaping North Van’s future.
Andrew grew up in the city and lives with his spouse, children, and retired mom in his childhood home near Ray Perrault Park.
Andrew works as a medical physicist and clinical investigator at BC Cancer. He has a PhD in Physics from UBC and is a clinical instructor with the UBC Faculty of Medicine. Andrew has dedicated his career as a scientist, educator, and public sector worker to solving complex problems for people in need. He does this by collaborating to build evidence-based solutions grounded in shared values. That’s the kind of experience Council needs as it makes high-stakes decisions about how and where our city grows.
Andrew has spent the last two years advocating for better housing and civic infrastructure for young families and multigenerational households in our city. His community volunteer work includes contributions to the North Shore Community Housing Action Committee and being the current President of the BC Association of Medical Physicists.
